USAID seeks senior media adviser

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) seeks a senior media adviser for the Bureau of Democracy, Governance and Humanitarian Assistance and Center of Excellence on Democracy, Human Rights and Governance.
The adviser will provide technical leadership, program management, field support, training and expertise on democracy, human rights and governance programs, with a specific focus on international media development and information and communications technologies.
Successful applicants must be available for periodic developing country travel, including critical priority countries (CPC) like Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan and Sudan.
Applicants need at least 10 years experience in designing, managing, evaluating and/or implementing foreign assistance programs in international media assistance. A relevant post-graduate degree and/or equivalent work experience is required. Foreign language ability is preferred.
Applicants should send a cover letter, resume, writing sample and five references by February 15.
