Independent documentarians and film makers from around the world can submit their work to The Talking Pictures Festival, which will be held near Chicago, in the U.S., from May 1 to 3. The deadline to enter is January 30.

Though the organizers are accepting films on a variety of topics, this year's theme focuses on sustainability, organic food and agriculture, and the environment. Thus, the organizers are especially interested in receiving entries related to those themes.

Interested participants may submit documentaries, fiction films, music videos, experimental films, animation, short/long films, and any other genre of film. Winners will be awarded with cash.
