Short journalism courses available for working professionals
Working journalists in Africa can attend a series of journalism skills courses to be held in Johannesburg, South Africa, from June 1 through late October.
Organized by Wits Journalism, the courses offer journalists the chance to expand and improve their skills in a number of areas including online journalism, reporting on children, radio and television journalism, financial journalism, and photojournalism. To accommodate working professionals, the courses are short block or weekly seminars.
The fee for each course is R4 500 (US$434). Upon completion, participants will receive a certificate and credits towards an honors degree.
