Radio journalists in Ecuador can apply for scholarships to attend a workshop on investigative journalism and new media from March 22 to 31 in Quito.

Centro Internacional de Estudios de Periodismo para América Latina (CIESPAL), in partnership with Deutsche Welle's DW-AKADEMIE and the Friedrich Ebert Stiffung Foundation, are offering 12 scholarships to news radio producers.

The workshop will cover topics such as: investigation strategies, information sources and informants; investigative interviews; investigation hypothesis; and investigating with Web 2.0 and new resources for journalists.
