Qatar to hold free course in TV and radio journalism

In cooperation with UNESCO, Al jazeera Media Training and Development Center in Qatar is offering a free six-week course on TV and radio journalism from October 26 to December 4. Deadline for submissions is October 1.

The course, which will be held in Doha, will focus on the principles of journalism, TV and radio script-writing, the modern direction of media, and creating TV and radio reports.

Al jazeera and UNESCO will pay for all course expenses, which include travel and accommodation.

Applicants should be no older than 27 years old; have a college degree, preferably in media, or two years experience in journalism; be fluent in Arabic and English; and be computer literate, with skills in MS Office, and the Internet.
