Prize promotes radio fiction in Ibero-American countries

With the goal of promoting radio programming in Ibero-American countries, the Margarita Xirgu contest will award the best radio fiction piece in the region. Deadline: March 18.
According to Casa América, contestants must submit new works in Spanish; works should not have been committed to appear on radio or TV stations, or any editorial, theatrical, film or news organization. The script may cover any topic.
The prize, of €6,000 (US$8,100), is a joint initiative of Radio Exterior de España and Agencia Española de Cooperación Internacional.
