Panel on media development, aid broadcast live [Worldwide]

A discussion panel on the relationship between media development and aid will be broadcast live.
The Center for International Media Assistance, the National Endowment for Democracy and Internews are hosting "Can media development make aid more effective?" January 30 in Washington, D.C.
Topics will include how effective donor support is to the media, the relationship of the media sector to economic development and good governance, how stakeholders can advance policy discussions on aid effectiveness to include independent media assistance and more.
The panel features speakers from the World Bank Institute, Brookings Institution and Internews.
