Journalists in Latin America and the Caribbean can participate in an online Spanish-language course.
The four-week online course, “Hyperlocal Journalism” is offered by the Knight Center for Journalism in the Americas. It will show participants how to write for hyperlocal media, which covers news and information in a reporter's immediate geographic surroundings.
Argentine journalist and instructor Sandra Crucianelli will teach the course. It will include audiovisual presentations, weekly exercises, online discussions and additional assignments. The cost of the course is US$50.
