November 16 will mark the start of the fifth edition of an online course on print media, designed to teach techniques for digital convergence through online modules.

Some of the topics to be covered are: the fusion of newsrooms, Web 2.0 and 3.0 applied to journalism, news business management in digital convergence, the newspaper migration to the Web, ethical dilemmas, and citizen journalism, among others.

The training is organized by Ecuador's Universidad Técnica de Loja.
