Photojournalists worldwide can apply for an online apprenticeship.

The Lucie Foundation offers a free online apprenticeship program called E-pprentice that matches working professional photographers with students and talented amateurs.

The six-month program features a web-based exchange guided by a suggested curriculum, using instant messaging and video chat program for critiques and discussions.

Complete the online application, including a personal statement, resume, essay questions and up to 20 images by March 15.

Seven emerging photographers were selected in 2011.
