Working journalists and journalism students in the Delhi metropolitan area are invited to a free, one-day workshop on "Sharpening Your News Writing" at the International Media Institute of India (IMII) on Saturday, March 13. Registration deadline: March 10.

The workshop, to run from 10 am to 5 pm, will be led by American journalist and media trainer Jody McPhillips. Participants will learn new techniques for producing clear, compelling and concise copy.

The session will include lecture, discussion and hands-on practice. Those who wish an individual critique of their work must submit stories to the IMII offices by Wednesday, March 10. Stories can be emailed to: info@imii.co.in.
