Information and communications professionals, and experts in mass media, business and civil society are invited to a conference in Moscow on "Information, Society, Culture and Education," on November 30 and December 1. Deadline: October 15.

The conference, EVA 2009 Moscow, will focus on digitization of and access to cultural and scientific heritage; multilingual access to information; digital heritage preservation and long-term access; educational issues; multimedia and more.

It is being supported by the European Commission, the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, All-Russia State Library for Foreign Literature, the Russian Committee of the UNESCO “Information for All” Program, and other organizations.

There is no registration fee.
