Mental health media grants accepting applications [New Zealand]
Journalists in New Zealand looking to fund reporting projects on mental health can apply for a grant.
The New Zealand Mental Health Media Grants, sponsored by the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand are looking for projects that investigate and/or raise awareness about a particular mental health issue, help reduce stigma and discrimination associated with mental illness, increase understanding and support for people with experience of mental illness, communicate a strong message, reach a broad public audience or inform specific target audiences with that message and can be carried out in New Zealand and of relevance to New Zealanders.
Applicants must be New Zealand citizens or permanent residents and practicing journalists, photojournalists and or freelancers in print, radio or TV.
