Meeting will analyze tabloids’ success in Latin America

The keys to the success of tabloid newspapers will be the main theme of the third meeting for tabloid-style newspapers and the community market, scheduled for June 10 to 12 in San Salvador, El Salvador.

Directors and managing editors of prominent tabloids in Latin American will gather to discuss the success of their respective newspapers, among them: Teodomiro Braga, executive director of Super Notícia, Brazil; Carlos Echeverry, president of La Máquina de Ideas, Bolivia; and Alexandre Bach, managing editor of Diário Gaúcho, Brazil.

The meeting's goal is to promote the exchange of experiences on content, social responsibility and promotion of Latin American tabloid papers.

The event is organized by IAPA's Instituto de Prensa. Registration costs US$600.
