Journalists from Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Kenya, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey and Belarus with extensive experience in the field of human rights and a good command of English can apply for grants to attend a fellowship Program on Human Rights in Genva, Switzerland, from May 3 to 7. Deadline: March 31.

Global Journalism Network Media21 is hosting the program, which will take place during the 8th session of the Universal Periodical Review of the Human Rights Council. Participating journalists will receive daily briefings by experienced UN officials, NGO representatives and journalists, who will give them an overview on human rights worldwide. Twelve full grants are available.
