Mashable seeks experienced online journalists to apply for its U.S. and world editor position to be based in New York.

The editor will plan, manage and edit a wide variety of coverage for the U.S. & World channel, which covers politics and national and world events.

Duties include developing, pursuing and publishing multiple stories in a day; helping develop new presentation formats for innovative story ideas; the highlighting of global hotspots and broadband growth in developing countries and more.

Candidates should have a bachelor's degree, at least four years of experience with a daily news site, at least one year of editing experience and familiarity with HTML.
