Journalism exchange to bring Korean journalists to the U.S.

Working print, broadcast and online journalists from Korea with at least five years of experience are invited to apply for a 15-day journalism exchange program, during which participants will take part in dialogue and travel to the U.S. Deadline: January 8.
From April 19 to May 3, participants will meet with government officials, community and business leaders, educators and students, local journalists and others to gain insights on the many diverse issues and perspectives among Americans and Koreans that shape the relationship between their two countries. During this time, journalists from the U.S. will travel to Korea will a similar program itinerary.
After their study tours, the U.S. and Korean journalists will meet for a three-day dialogue at the East-West Center in Honolulu, Hawaii to discuss the relationship between their countries and how media coverage of U.S.-Korea issues can be enhanced.
Selected Korean journalists will travels to Washington, DC; New York, NY; and Detroit, Michigan. The program covers all air transportation, lodging, and program-related ground transportation and meals for participating journalists.
