Journalists from Latin America and the Caribbean who are interested in attending graduate studies in the U.S. and Canada can apply for a scholarship to study in journalism schools.
The scholarship will be awarded by the Inter American Press Association (IAPA), which will provide US$20,000 to each beneficiary.
The call is also open to U.S. students who want to study at universities in Latin America or the Caribbean.
To be eligible, applicants must be journalists or journalism students enrolled in the final year of their career, be between 21 - 35 years old and fluent in the language in which they plan to study.
The deadline for submissions is January 31, 2012.
