Harvard competition for fairness in coverage open [US]
Journalists working for newspapers or websites in the United States can be nominated for an award.
The entry best recognizing fairness in news coverage by America's daily newspapers will receive US$10,000. Second and third place finalists will receive US$1,000 each.
Entries may be a single story, a photograph, an editorial or a commentary; a series of stories, photographs, editorials or commentaries; or a body of work by an individual journalist. Submissions will be judged on reporting, writing, editing, headlines, photographs, illustrations and presentation.
Entries must be submitted online. The deadline is Jan. 24.
