A graduate program in journalism is available for New Zealanders and applicants from developing countries in Asia. The program is limited to 20 students. Deadline: November 15.

Applicants should have a bachelor's degree or work experience in journalism.

The program is to be completed in one year and includes study of: media law, history and role of the news media, a social political background to the news, specialized writing, and more.

The program is offered by the University of Canterbury.
