Free seminar for journalists offered [Worldwide]

Mid-career journalists worldwide can apply for a free, one-week summer program in Italy.

The Legatum Institute announces the first annual Legatum Institute Summer School for journalists, as well as professionals in business, economics, academia, politics, science and the arts with a track record of thinking creatively, locally and globally.

Participants will discuss today’s global economic and political challenges while exploring the main theme of civilizations' success and downfalls.

Chair of business journalism at Columbia University Sylvia Nasar will join the faculty, among renowned political commentators and art and science experts.

The inaugural program will take place in northern Italy, July 30–August 5. Submit a 500-word statement of interest, resume and two recommendation letters by March 11.
