Journalists worldwide interested in politics can apply for a spot in a free online bootcamp.

PolicyMic will teach participants to write provocatively and persuasively about politics and culture in a seven-week program designed to test and train writing and new media skills.

Each week features tests and challenges, and completing each week's challenge unlocks tasks for the next week. There are prizes to win while their editors give you feedback on your writing. Each participant will leave with a portfolio of writing and an audience of readers.

The bootcamp will accept around 15 participants and all training will be conducted in English. All work can be done remotely with a flexible time schedule within each week.

The priority deadline is March 9 and the regular deadline is March 12.
