Documentary filmmakers in South Africa seeking to improve their skills and launch their careers can register for a four-week documentary workshop in Cape Town, to be held July 18 to August 14. Deadline: May 1.

Students will learn the art of visual storytelling. They will be taught how to write, direct, and produce their own stories. The editing process will be taught with Final Cut Pro.

Tuition for the workshop is US$4,200. Scholarships are available.
