Journalists from around the world who specialize in covering health and the environment can apply for a scholarship to attend a conference.
The biennial Conference of the International Association for Ecology and Health (Ecohealth) brings researchers, practitioners and educators together to address issues like environmental impact on human health, transmission of infectious diseases, conservation and rural and urban development.
The conference will take place in Montreal, Canada, from Aug. 11-15.
The World Federation of Science Journalists is offering eight scholarships to qualified professionals so they can attend the conference. The scholarships will cover travel costs to Montreal, four nights accommodation and visa and conference registration fees.
The deadline to apply for the scholarships is June 3.
