Crisis reporting course open to Indian journalists

Full-time Indian journalists working for Indian media organizations are invited to apply for a Crisis and Disaster Reporting Course in Delhi, India, which will take place October 12 to 16. Deadline: September 28.
The course, sponsored by the Thomson Reuters Foundation, will address the challenges and techniques of covering international-scale crises and disasters using Reuters and other world news organizations as models. The course will help journalists improve their skills within an interactive group environment.
Bursaries covering travel and budget are available for journalists from the developing world/countries in political transition who are working for organizations with no resources for training.
Applicants must also be able to demonstrate a commitment to a career in journalism in their country, have at least two years' professional experience and have a good level in spoken and written English.
