A workshop that will gather 20 directors and managing editors of regional newspapers in Latin America will be offering training and consultancy in media convergence and online news production. The event is scheduled for June 30 to July 3 in Bogotá, Colombia. Deadline: June 21.

The workshop will cover different aspects of editorial management, such as technical changes in the newsroom's digital processes, as well as analyses of potential new business models; challenges in newsroom management and work flow supervision in the digital environment; content production; technological tools; and ethical dilemmas.

The course costs US$700 and is organized by Fundación Nuevo Periodismo Iberoamericano (FNPI).
