Citizen journalists in Mexico can participate in a contest.

Anyone over the age of 18 can participate in a citizen journalism contest organized by CNN’s iReport project, CNNMé and CNN in Spanish.

There are three categories: Mexico today, sports and entertainment/culture. Participants can submit photos, videos and audio. There’s no limit of entries per participant.

The deadline for submitting entries is October 21. The winners will be announced on November 9.

Four winners will be chosen for each category and one selected by CNN viewers. The prize is a trip to the network’s headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia.
