The BBC is accepting applications for its 2012 apprenticeship program.
Duties could range from providing general admin support to a production team, to booking equipment, arranging meetings, helping on shoots and maybe doing basic research. Apprentices receive training and support to achieve their goals – and they’ll gain a qualification at the end of it, as well as hands on experience in television and online.
2012 is going to be a huge year for the United Kingdom and for the BBC. With the Olympic Games, Diamond Jubilee and many cultural events happening, it will be a once in a lifetime experience.
The BBC seeks people who are passionate about the media, with lots of energy ideas and a desire to learn. Apprentices don't need a lot of experience or qualifications. The 2012 Apprenticeship scheme runs in both London and Glasgow.
Applicants must have the right to work in the U.K.
