Award to recognize communication for social change

An international competition is seeking nominations of those who have made outstanding contributions in the theory or practice of communication for social change. Deadline: May 1.
The competition, the Communication for Sustainable Social Change Award, will award nominees who have contributed to the theory of communication for sustainable social change. Contributions should demonstrate an innovative approach and strong potential for long-term sustainability.
Nominations must include supporting documents, such as a letter describing the nominee's contribution, media articles written by or about the nominee and three references.
The winner will be awarded US$500. The competition is being run by the U.S. University of Massachusetts.
