Journalists from across the Arab world are invited to submit works on people and development to a contest. Deadline to apply: March 30.

The competition, the "Best News Article Awards Competition," is organized by the Center of Arab Women for Training and Research (CAWTAR) and the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF).

Submitted articles should have not been published before 2009 and should be no more than 5,000 words. Winners will receive cash prizes.
