The Associated Press seeks a mobile applications and digital producer to work in New York City.

The successful candidate will bring a hybrid of editorial, production and technical expertise to the job and be the point person for AP content and operations across mobile and tablet devices.

Responsibilities include balancing editorial standards with product demands, overseeing the top headlines mobile package, troubleshooting any editorial (problematic headlines for text/video, cropped photos) or technical issues on AP’s mobile apps and site and more.

Qualifications include a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, extensive experience in mainstream, online and social media worldwide, previous experience in running a mobile or online application, familiarity with the needs of cross-format storytelling, visual journalism and innovative news presentation and more.
