Journalists are invited to learn about the future of grassroots media at the African Bloggers Conference, "Kelele," to be held this year in Nairobi, Kenya from August 13 to 19.

Kelele is held in a different African city each year. The theme of this year’s conference is “Beat Your Drum” and will convene bloggers and technology experts to discuss the ways in which new media technologies give a voice to the marginalized.

The event will also feature skills training on blogs and Internet communication.
