Al-Jazeera training center in Doha, Qatar, is organizing a media training titled “TV journalism and the TV correspondent” scheduled from July 8 to August 2.

The workshop is open to recent journalism graduates or those interested in enrolling in the field of TV journalism. The training will cover various issues including the basics of journalism, differences between TV journalism and print journalism, planning and directing the news story, and interviewing skills.

The registration fees are QAR14,000 (about US$3850). Meals and transportation are included. Those wishing to apply should have a university degree preferably in media, or a minimum of two years experience in journalism.

Al-Jazeera Training Center was established in 2004. It conducts training for journalists on a variety of media.
