ICFJ offers online course on covering labor issues in the Arab world

Journalists from across the Arab world are invited to apply for a six-week Arabic language online training course on covering labor issues. Online course in Portuguese to focus on digital tools for public service coverage

Portuguese-speaking journalists are invited to apply to take part in an online course on "Digital Tools for Public Service Reporting," scheduled to take place April 19 to May 23. Deadline: April 9. The course is divided into two parts, one online and another in-class component.

Two-month internship in Germany open to journalists from New Independent States

Five young journalists (between 23 to 35 years old) from New Independent States (countries of the former Soviet Union) will be selected to become intern-editors at a German media outlet through a fellowship program. Deadline: April 15. The fellowship, called the Marion Gräfin Dönhoff Bursary, is supported by the International Journalistic Program (Internationale Journalisten-Programme).
