Role of media in the financial crisis to be discussed in Brussels

An international conference for media professionals from November 9 to 10, in Brussels, Belgium, will discuss the role of media in the recent global financial crisis.

Called "Covering The Crisis," the conference will analyze the failure of media to report effectively prior to the Wall Street collapse, as well as the future of financial journalism.

The fee to attend is US$223.

The conference is being hosted by the European Journalism Centre (EJC).
