Taylor Mulcahey

Taylor Mulcahey oversees IJNet's English-language content, social media and audience engagement.

Originally from Madison, Wisconsin, she studied at the University of Pittsburgh. Mulcahey graduated with bachelor’s degrees in political science and international and area studies, with a focus on women’s issues and the MENA region. She became interested in international journalism while studying abroad in Tunisia, where she worked with bloggers and citizen journalists to explore the role of new media in the 2011 revolution, and the growing feminist movement. 

Prior to interning at ICFJ, she was a staff writer for The Pitt News and as writer and editor for The Fourth Wave. She also held internships with Wisconsin Progress and Global Solutions Pittsburgh, working on their communications and education teams. Mulcahey is proficient in French.
