Samantha Juster

Samantha Juster supports the Knight International Journalism Fellowships team. She graduated summa cum laude from American University with a BA in International Studies and a minor in Chinese. She is originally from Omaha, Nebraska, but has since lived in France, China, Mauritius, and Taiwan and traveled to many other countries in Europe and Asia. She speaks fluent French, proficient Mandarin Chinese, and some Mauritian Creole. Previous internships include positions at American Councils, the Atlantic Council, the World of Chinese Magazine, the U.S. Helsinki Commission, and the U.S. Department of Commerce's International Trade Administration.
