Núria Saldanha

As an ICFJ communications intern, Núria Saldanha helped ICFJ’s communication team by drafting social media updates, writing content for the website, preparing analytics reports, among other tasks.

Previously, she worked as content manager for the Brazil Foundation, as a broadcast reporter for RBS media group and BandNews TV and has written for Folha de São Paulo, Zero Hora and Exame.com.

A native of Brazil, she holds an M.A. in Social Journalism from the City University of New York (CUNY), an MBA from Fundação Instituto de Administração (FIA) and a B.A. in journalism from Pontificia Universidade Catolica (PUC/RS). In 2015, she was a Tow-Knight fellow for Entrepreneurial Journalism.

Saldanha is a native Portuguese speaker. She is fluent in English and has a basic knowledge of Spanish.
