The electronic version of "Iranian journalists and journalism training in Iran" in Persian has been posted online, Hamshahrionline.ir reported.

The book discusses the history of journalism training in Iran and suggests that Iranian journalists lag behind their colleagues in the West in terms of technical skills of the craft.

ICFJ publishes manual on social reporting in Persian

The International Center for Journalists (ICFJ) has published a social reporting manual for Iranian journalists that discusses issues including covering the social beat, avoiding stereotypes and using social statistics in stories.

The author of the manual is award-winning Iranian journalist and cartoonist Nikahang Kowsar.

ICFJ launches crisis reporting courses for Iranian journalists

The International Center for Journalists (ICFJ) has launched its advanced online training course in crisis reporting for Iranian journalists and bloggers.

Participants in the online course will study topics such as gender and crises, health problems, reporting crisis stories from a humanitarian perspective and using online and social networking tools in the time of crisis.
