Prize will honor works by young Ibero-American journalists

Young journalists of Ibero-American countries whose works defend and promote the values of freedom, equality, justice and human rights can compete in the second edition of ‘La Pepa 1812’ journalism prize. Deadline: March 15. The prize intends to honor the work or accomplishments of journalists younger than 35 years of age. Works in Spanish and Portuguese will be accepted.

Photography training workshop open in Saudi Arabia

Photojournalists and journalists in Saudi Arabia are invited to participate in a training workshop focusing on professional photography which will be held in Jeddah City from February 27 to March 3. Hosted by the Jeddah-based Al-Masar Company for media and public relations, the training will be conducted by the well-known Saudi photographer Salim Basba’ain.
