Aspiring Canadian journalists, ages 11 to 18, are invited to submit reporting projects about local environmental issues.
The advocacy group Environmental Defence, a Canadian environmental advocacy group, seeks reporting projects. Students may submit written stories, photos projects or videos about local environmental issues.
The competition will be broken into two age brackets for 11 to 14 year olds and 15 to 18 year olds. These year's themes are: What’s your waste management solution? And what’s your litter solution?
Participants will have the chance to win laptops, cameras, reporting trips and cash for their schools. Their work will also be published online.
The deadline is March 31.
