Individuals ages 30 and younger can compete for a cash prize.
The World Bank office in Cairo, in partnership with the Economic Research Forum (ERF), has launched the second round of its Youth Essay Competition. The topic is "Entrepreneurship: Tackling Social Challenges."
Entries must be in English or Arabic and have no more than 2,500 words, featuring innovative solutions to promote social entrepreneurship and tackle social challenges in Egyptian communities.
Finalists will present their essays at an award ceremony in Cairo. The authors of the five winning essays will receive cash prizes ranging from EGP4,000 to EGP12,000.
The deadline is March 30.
