Journalists and media specialists ages 35 and younger from Kyrgyzstan can apply for this training.
The School of Peacemaking and Media Technology in Central Asia is accepting applications for the seminar "Preventing extremist propaganda and hate in media," which will take place Feb. 26 to 28 in Bishkek.
The training will address issues of journalism ethics and legal security. Participants will learn how to cover extremism, terrorism and related issues, what role the hate speech plays in spreading of radical content, and more.
The organizers will pay all expenses related to the training.
The deadline is Feb. 16.
