Trainings on gender sensitive reporting open [Ukraine]

Ukrainian journalists and bloggers can apply for these trainings.

The Regional Press Development Institute (RPDI), with the support of the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine's Media Development Fund, is organizing three two-day trainings in Ukraine on gender sensitive reporting.

Trainings will be held Jan. 27 to 28 in Kiev, Feb. 10 to 11 in Odessa and March 3 to 4 in Lviv.

Participants will learn about sexism and ways to confront it, how to cover gender-based violence and more.

Participation is free. The organizers will cover travel and accommodation costs for participants from other cities.

The deadline for the course in Kiev is Jan. 16, for Odessa is Jan. 30 and for Lviv, Feb. 27.
