Citizen journalists can take part in this training program.
The three-year LADDER project, funded by Directorate General Development and Cooperation - EuropeAid, is creating a network of approximately 50 citizen journalists from the European Union and neighboring countries.
The project is looking for nonprofessional journalists who are interested in global issues, such as migration, human rights, development, poverty eradication, etc. Participants will receive training in journalism skills.
The organizers will cover travel and accommodation.
Additionally, each of 26 LADDER project's partners will select two citizen journalists who will receive support in promoting their work (including booking space in newspapers, promoting articles, organizing participation in local events, etc.)
The deadline is Nov. 30.
