Training focuses on reporting land rights [Sub-Saharan Africa]

Journalists interested in reporting on land rights can apply for this free training.

The International Land Coalition (ILC) and the African Centre for Media Excellence (ACME) are organizing a training on reporting land rights June 20 to 22 in Kampala, Uganda.

The training will focus on land investigations planning, land rights and corruption, and land story research and presentation. Each participant will be expected to write at least one story after the training. A small story grant will be available.

The organizers will cover participants’ travel, accommodation, meals and incidentals.

The deadline is May 18.
