Short film festival seeks entries [Worldwide]

Filmmakers and film students from around the world can participate in this festival.

The Kiev International Short Film Festival will take place April 19 to 23, 2017 in Kiev, Ukraine.

The festival is accepting short films (up to 30 minutes) that were finished after April 2015. Categories include fiction, documentary, animation or experimental. Any entries not in English must include English subtitles.

Three main awards will be given to the winning films: best film, best director and audience award as well as two or more special mentions.

The submission fee ranges from US$6 to US$10, depending on film length and deadline. Official representatives of film schools may submit films of their students for free.

The regular deadline is Jan. 31, 2017. The late deadline is Feb. 28, 2017.
