Undergraduate journalism or communications students worldwide who are fluent in English can apply for an internship in Washington.
The International Center for Journalists (ICFJ) will select two international students for the Scripps Howard Foundation Semester in Washington Internship Program. The program is designed to give students abroad an opportunity to cover events in the U.S. capital, as well as to report and write feature stories for the Scripps Howard Foundation Wire.
Interns will work at the Scripps Howard News Service from January to April. Stories written by Scripps Howard interns may be published in newspapers across the United States.
ICFJ will pay for airfare, housing, a per day meal/living/transportation allowance and health insurance for the duration of the program.
The deadline is Sept. 25.
