U.S. journalism students can apply for a paid reporting fellowship.
The Pulliam Fellowship program places college students and new graduates at either The Indianapolis Star or The Arizona Republic for the summer of 2019. Fellows will act as members of the newsroom and participate in writing workshops. Selected students earn US$650 per week for the duration of the 10-week program.
College juniors, seniors and graduate students enrolled in journalism programs are eligible to apply.
Applicants must send samples of their best published writings, at least half of which were written under deadline, a transcript of the college credits and three letters of recommendation.
The deadline is Nov. 1.
