Online course covers communication management [Latin America]

Communication professionals who wish to learn strategies and public relations applicable to state or private press offices can register for this online training.

The Centro de Formación en Periodismo Digital (CFPD) of the University of Guadalajara is organizing the course "Communication management at press offices." The course will run from April 23 to June 3.

Topics include how to define the functions and structure of a press office, develop strategies for communicating programs of public interest and determine the ideal spokesperson or spokesman for the office. Participants will learn to implement effective strategies and tools for communicating official messages to the public.

The deadline to register is April 8. Registration costs MXN2,500 for Mexican residents and US$125 for participants outside Mexico.
